It’s hard to believe another year has flown by, but here we are, in the midst of another bustling holiday season and preparing to ring in a brand-new year. As fun and exciting as it is to get “wrapped up” in the festivities, I think it’s also important to look back and see how much we’ve accomplished.
Supplemental Health Care has much to be proud of as we continue to receive recognition from healthcare industry experts across the board. This past year SHC earned two Inavero Best of Staffing® Awards, one for Talent Satisfaction and one for Client Satisfaction. The Best of Staffing® awards recognize staffing companies for outstanding service quality based solely on ratings from their clients and job candidates. To demonstrate how prestigious it is to earn this recognition, less than 2% of ALL staffing agencies in the U.S. and Canada have earned this honor.
We are also proud to have been named by Staffing Industry Analysts as one of the largest Allied, Per Diem, Travel, and Staffing Firms in the U.S. SHC has been on this list since 2014 and, maintaining this recognition year after year is a testament to our continued growth and our earned reputation as a healthcare staffing industry leader.
Another highlight was having the 2018 American Staffing Association’s National Staffing Employee of the Year come from SHC! Congratulations to Brittney Bourgeois for making all of us so proud and thank you for your dedication to the speech language pathology profession and the children you serve.
Since I joined SHC as President and CEO, I have been continually inspired by the talent and efforts of the people who work so hard every day to make us who we are. From the talented caregivers who are compassionately providing the highest quality of care, to our recruitment teams who continually ensure that we have the best healthcare professionals in the industry, to each and every person behind the scenes who form the backbone of our company in our local, administrative, and travel offices, you all inspire me! I am so proud to be a member of this amazing organization and to be able to witness our employees embody the Care More attitude every day.
And speaking of Care More, I want to thank all of our team members who so generously volunteered your time this holiday season to Ronald McDonald House. Your efforts, combined with our donation to Toys for Tots, will hopefully make this a better holiday for many people.
Thank you all for everything you do! May you and your family and friends enjoy the best of this season of giving, and may your 2019 be an exceptional year filled with peace, joy, health, and happiness.
