Park City, Utah, August 18th, 2021 – Supplemental Health Care (SHC), a leading healthcare staffing firm in the United States, is partnering with Hope Builders, an independent non-profit (501c3) that helps train and place young adults in rewarding career fields, like healthcare.

Supplemental Health Care will be supporting Hope Builder’s annual 10 Days of Paving a Pathway to Prosperity fundraiser, held this August 28th to September 6th, 2021. As part of the event, Hope Builders invites you to attend virtual speaker sessions including Glenn Stearns, CEO of Kind Learning; Darryl Strawberry, MLB legend; Joe Kiani, Chairman and CEO of Masimo; and the SHC’s sponsored session on September 2nd, featuring keynote speaker Dominque Dawes, three-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist. These guest speakers will share their own experiences overcoming adversity and pursuing success.

Dominique’s Story

SHC recognizes that better job opportunities offer young adults more certainty and stability in their careers and personal lives. With mentorship, life skills, and job training, Hope Builders empowers young people to succeed in occupations with growth opportunities and better wages.

One example of Hope Builder’s impact is Cipriana Diaz. After leaving a relationship involving domestic violence, Cipriana struggled to support herself and her children with a minimum wage job. After connecting with Hope Builders, she was trained and placed in a medical assistant role. The new opportunity has given her more confidence in herself as well as stability and security for her family.

Cipriana’s Story

Creating connections that fuel miracles is central to SHC’s core mission, and we’re honored to partner with Hope Builders to help create career connections that create miraculous outcomes for these young people and the communities they serve.
