In addition, there are mass transit options to save you from traffic jams. On Amtrak, the trip from Lancaster Station to Penn Station only takes two hours and 45 minutes. Then, Penn Station puts you in the middle of Manhattan.
  • Baltimore, MD: Maybe the hustle and bustle isn’t for you. Perhaps, you are more interested in a day trip for exquisite seafood. Try a quick trip to Baltimore’s beautiful waterfront for crab cakes and some authentic Old Bay spice. Charm City is less than a 2 hour drive from Lancaster and makes a perfect excursion if you find you ever want to get out of town.
