Decrease Transmission of COVID-19

October 21, 2021

SHC is closely monitoring the outbreak of a new strain of Coronavirus, COVID-19. As information and recommendations about the COVID-19 continue to evolve, we want to emphasize our support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other public health partners as the appropriate source of information and guidance for health care organizations and providers.

Because the situation is changing rapidly and advice may change, please review information and guidance as it becomes available and evaluate the need to modify current practices. Routine practices that are currently required will decrease the risk of transmission of any infectious agent. These should be in place regardless of any new identified infectious threat.
